‘The Mill – City of Dreams’ was a play about the people of Bradford, their city and the history that has influenced their lives.
Left alone, with the keys to a disused mill, Frank wanders through the empty mill spaces with only his memories and ghosts of the past for company. In his 65 years, he has seen the mill go from boom to bust. He has seen his friends disperse and the city change.
Born in Manningham, he went to work in the mill at the age of 14 as a jobber lad. He worked with people of all communities and generations. He watched as they struggled and strived, laughed and cried and shared dreams together.
Now, whose dreams will come to fill this once great building?
